So, Myspace has virtually died. It is no more. It has ceased to be. It has expired and gone to meet its maker.
So, we've been wondering what to do.
Eventually, we'll be making a website, as it's easier.
Also because it'll look nicer than this Myspace shit.
But, anyway, will update on the albums and shit:
Elemental
Nearly finished redoing the booklet. Looks nicer this time around anyway. Just takes longer. Front cover is sexy but looks shit as a JPG so it's a bit dull. The page for Continuum is also sexy.
When all the covers are done, Chris is going to master all the recordings, and retweak a few things (I think Air's vocals need redoing, Ice needs remixing before mastering, etc), but other than that nearly done. After that, not sure how to release it. Could do a full printed release, but would cost shitloads and with no guarantees that we could sell the stuff we made. We could do iTunes, but again, would need to recoup costs. I think the ideal idea is to simply release it through Lulu, but not sure whether you can do a 12-page booklet on it. Anyway, should (hopefully) be done and dusted by the end of the year. And yes, I'm, aware I've been saying that every year since 2007.

So, this has a bit of a revised tracklist, as shit's happened, and we ended up with too many songs, so we have to add an album.

So, the new album to take the brunt of some of TST's overindulgence. Dunno whether this title will stick or not.

Tracklist still changes pretty much daily, depending on what particular aspect of Japanese culture we want to take the piss out of.
Will probably do one disc of silly, irrelevant, irreverent, quite possibly morally wrong songs, in random silly styles, and one disc of covers.
The covers will cover a lot of stuff. We'll probably cover some J-pop, J-rock and J-punk, for no good reason, and maybe cover a few Western songs about Japan, such as Tokyo Blade's Sunrise in Tokyo and Warrior of the Rising Sun.
In order to avoid paying royalties we'll probably release it for free online.
New Project
Some random idea I had after watching When the Light Takes Us. Gonna do an oldschool black metal album, in several languages. So far I've done the lyrics to two songs. Du Ciel, La Morte and Øynene Som Ser i Mørket. Waiting to be truly grim to finish. Will probably do 8 or 9 songs.
Random shit that's important before the rest of stuff
Me and Chris have come up with a new plan. As my composition skills are pretty shit, from this point on (ie. after everything up to the BM album is done), Chris will be doing all of the music and I'll just do lyrics. This is for shitloads of reasons, such as that he's better than me, that he has the recording studio and all the VSTs, and such, but also because I may be getting Carpal Tunnel and, as such, my days of playing guitar (and damn near anything else) are probably over. And it's pretty hard to write music without your primary instrument. So, yes. Possible plan there.
Vampire Rising
Well, second song of this is written, and done, and goes by the name To Savour The Piquant Taste of Youth, though I need to re-record vocals. As I said, Chris will probably compose this, so other than the original VR, it'll be good :p
